Dr. Olga Wilhelmi Named AMS Fellow
We extend our congratulations to Dr. Olga Wilhelmi on her election as an AMS Fellow. Dr. Wilhelmi is an active member of the Urban-PREDICT Steering Group and a senior researcher at the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) in the United States.
This prestigious, lifetime designation is reserved for individuals who have demonstrated outstanding, sustained contributions to the atmospheric and related sciences over a substantial period of years.
Dr. Shiguang Miao Awarded the Helmut E. Landsberg Award
We are proud to celebrate Dr. Shiguang Miao, who has been selected to receive the prestigious 2027 Helmut E. Landsberg Award. Dr. Miao serves as the Scientific Steering Committee (SSC) Liaison for Urban-PREDICT and directs the Institute of Urban Meteorology in Beijing.
This honor recognizes Dr. Miao’s exemplary contributions to the fields of urban meteorology and climatology—achievements that directly align with our shared research mission.
